This is an example of the Slideshow plugin for WordPress. It’s is one of the simpler slideshow / carousel plugins I’ve come across. It allows you to create multiple slideshows which you can add to any one of your different pages or posts. There’s even a widget which allows for the integration of a slideshow into any one of your theme’s widget areas.
Once installed the plugin adds a “Slideshows” menu item to the WordPress Dashboard’s sidebar menu. From there you can create one or more different slideshows and add the images you want to display.
An “Insert Slideshow” button also is added to the TinyMCE editor for easy integration of your slideshows to your pages or posts. Clicking on it allows you to choose from a list of the slideshows you’ve created
